last had the '21, this is solid, consistent & indicative of this hi quality winery: inky completely opaque brooding oozing black fruit & spice, peppery, hint of vanilla, mild oak, huge extraction here just bordering on overkill. Huge & fleshy on midpalate, chewy tannins - suave but not a ton of finesse, this is built for power. Felt the heat on finish but this was thoroughly enjoyable

Wow. Cherry and brown sugar nose with some smoke underneath. Sweet cherry and cedar with chocolate. Velvety and savory throughout. Sour finish. I really like this.
