2016. This is a go-to Chianti Classico Reserva! Lighter red-brown color. Aromas of musky leather, pepper and blueberry. Flavors include leather, raisin, and vanilla. Lone persistence with moderate tannins.

$23 at Moe’s Market on St. Thomas. A lot less at Total Wine. Liked this a bit better than the non Riserva. May buy a few more bottles of this to get me through the week, then back to Houston for better, less expensive options. Can’t wait to get back to my CA collection in September.
