Beringer Vineyards
Napa Valley Chardonnay
Napa Valley, California, USAHello butter, apricots, peaches and lemon. Fruity like pebbles. Remind me of being a Napa newb in '99. Quite the CA oak and vanilla. Astor $20 ➡️ $14

Delicious tropical fruit flavor balanced with a slightly acidic aftertaste. Hard to believe this contains 14.5% alcohol!
I recommend chilling to the preferred serving temperature of a Full-Bodied Chardonnay (54-58°F) to avoid blocking the wonderful secondary grassy/tropical flavor.
Enjoy!🍷

Weak offering from Beringer. Light, crisp, grassy. But you can get that with Cono Sur for less $$ if that's what you like in a Chard. I like more oak, and a little butter. Pay the extra $5 for Sonoma-Cutrer, always good, or $3 less for KJ Vintners Reserve (a reasonable facsimile) Both have way more depth.
