Great bargain! Nice medium - full bodied blend. A bit dry/intense at the start but softened up after some swirling and sitting for 30+ minutes. Darkish berries up front with a little spice at the end. Funny glass “cork” that took some time to open. Went well with the tomato sauce. Will buy again for spaghetti/pizza nights. — a year ago
Loved this. With Jimmy and crew and ate some sautéed mushrooms (foraged by Nick) and sushi grade pickerel from Alex’s son’s store. Went beautifully. Nice citrus, hint of grapefruit, but not too sharp and no cats pee👍. — 4 years ago
Very good mid bodied red. Not very familiar with wines from Portugal. Was recommended by the manager of an excellent resto in Edmonton- - Tzin Wine and Tapas - . Perfect choice for the chefs choice sequence of food. Nice berries up front, low tannins but nice mineral finish. — 2 days ago
I enjoyed this. Good berries and light plum up front. Decent, if light, spice and just a hint of earth. Not a ton of depth on the finish, but again decent. Reasonably priced -$40- at LCBO. — 3 years ago
Really nice mid-body Bordeaux. Good dark berries upfront with a a little spice and licorice at the end. — 4 years ago
Bargain of the year so far!! Lots of dark berry upfront and decent finish with some spice. A wee bit dry and tannic, but only a bit and I figure that will soften up some over time. Great find for the price! — 9 months ago
Very fresh, but with good depth and long finish. — 2 years ago
Drinks bigger than described to me. More of a medium ++ than medium. A bit fruity to the nose but more full bodied in the mouth with some spice. Nice recommendation from my friends at Bosa Nova in TO. Won’t find it at the LCBO. Went well with grilled lamb chops. — 4 years ago

2nd recommendation at Tzin in Edmonton. More full bodied than the first and went so well with the “meatier” dishes. Good fruit up front with some spice. Drier finish but with good tannic balance. — 2 days ago
