I was pleasantly surprised that this Costco wine tasted so amazingly good!
…, candidly, it is my favorite wine under $20 a bottle from Costco right now… …. They’ve got a few good ones there right now, but most of those are 87 to 90 readings by me even though they say 92 on the bottle ,
It may just be the day or my pallet right now, but it has a really nice soft finish and a wonderful taste , not too bold but very pleasant!

Day 1 - tannic finish and almost tangy berry raisin blend.
Day 2 - softened considerably and much more palatable.
Given the $6 Costco purchase, I wasn’t disappointed but not excited enough to repeat purchase (if it’s even still available).

Wanted to like this more than I did. Medium bodied red, Syrah definitely comes through.

Delightfully enjoyable. A bit of interest with some woody notes, but easy drinking and could please a crowd. Served with steak and potatoes, but I’d love to add a chimichurri into the mix next time.

Has a nice rich fragrance of dark berries and juicy notes.
Starts out with a strong alcohol feel on the palate with robust flavors of spice, pepper and dark berries.
Not as smooth as I would like, but is still nice to drink with food.

This wine has a pleasant smell and taste. However, we were surprised that the nose didn’t match the taste. It’s a pretty drinkable option for a $5 wine from Costco.
