Bought this for my Cakebread-loving friend's birthday a few years ago and she saved it and brought it to our beach weekend. Much more acid than I expected and a really nice peppery finish (a very carneros signature).

I was worried I left it too long, but the Cakebread website said it would improve with 5-8 years in the bottle. They were right, the oak was soft, very easy to drink. Purchased from the winery in June 2014.

This is my favorite Chard. It is a reserve in every since of the word. No one else is allowed to drink it but me and one other. Hence, the NO on the label.
