Delicious

Certainly not a subtle wine. Full, Dense and Dark. Aromas of dark plum and cooked dark cherry with a touch of tobacco. The pallet is loaded with dark fruit and prunes. Very oaky and ripe! A bit of dark chocolate and vanilla on the finish, but the fruit dominates. Intense and Powerful but well structured and balanced at the same time.

Fruity notes. Plum! Really smooth. Delicate? Yes!

Medium plus body. Fruity. Dried herbs in the nose.

Guest wine

Powerful. Not quite to my initial taste but growing on me. Requires 30 minutes breathing time.

Compliments of Scott and Jad for Hartwood @ home night Their favorite from their Italian honeymoon — it definitely should be decanted and sit for an hour before drinking. Once it has a chance to breathe... it’s quite good. Need to investigate if it should be cellared for a bit as well. Overall: quality. Yet to know it’s true story.

Wow! Great fruit and smooth tannins. Notes of blackberry and brandy.
