Chianti Sangiovese

We are making Ossobuco tonight so most of this bottle is going in that. This glass I’m sipping as we prepare the meat; spicy floral on the nose like that red salvia flower I love and smooth on the way down.

Has a nice richness but almost akin to a tomato paste. Would be a good pairing with a strong Italian meal but a little tart on its own.

Oregano, plums, pepper & cheese very fruity
