Porter-Bass Vineyard Chardonnay

Great to finally get this in a glass. PB CH grapes came into the winery pristine, fully intact and healthy. I remember tasting the macros and thinking how they would turn out, given how crisp and fresh they were on the palate with zingy acid and full flavor. Direct translation from vineyard and vintage to bottle, always a hallmark of these wines. Energetic, fresh, bursting with bright flavors of citrus, crisp orchard fruits, chartreuse, and lemon blossom, all backed by a jolt of salty minerality. Focused, nothing excessive, nothing too austere either, very harmonious and even-keeled on all fronts.

Definitely one of ceritas’ top wines. This is beginning to round but still has good acidity. Quite nice.

Very acid driven. One to stash away.

Delicious. Can’t get enough of this.

Powdered sugar and freshly cut flowers.

Beguiling is the word that comes to mind here. Notes of confectioner's sugar and lemon.

Another great bottle of this wine! Best Chardonnay in California! This feels the right age. Screams summer in a glass
