This is one of the better Chasseur Uminos in a line of very good to great wines. Ripe with sweet berry jam flavors, hints of rose and a mouth coating texture. Enough acidity so it’s not cloying. Update: had the last of my ‘15s 3/26 and it is still a delicious if somewhat ‘darker’ wine leaning toward Cherry Heering funkiness over berry flavors. Sad to see these go as Chasseur stopped production after 2017.
