Always a right-bank favorite of mine.. first time trying the '12. A touch leaner than previous vintages, but same overripe, richly textured palate I love. Mocha, oak, and blackberry dominate the palate while it lives up to every other '12 bordeaux with seamless tannins that are as smooth as ever. A whif of smoke and charcoal linger in the background.. A great drink for the money.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 12/5-6/25. A nice wine from St. Emillion. A nice herbaceous bouquet of black fruit and tabaco. BlackBerry, plum, chocolate and leather on the palate. Old World. Medium bodied. A good wine for the price
