Definitely a food wine. Sweet on the finish but disappears with the food and evolves throughout the meal.

Jun 2nd, 2026Nice aged Côtes du Rhône, definitely mature, but still some pleasant redfruit aromas and flavors, soft structure, lingering finish, time to drink up!! This was a gray market import, as all labels are in French only, 13.5% ABV.

Nov 27th, 2025This definitely shows some Beaucastel “funk” (Brett) up front, palate shows bright redfruits but also maturity, medium-long finish, the most mature of these 3 CdRs!

Still hangin' on. Dust, white pepper, inky dark fruit. Soy sauce side is appearing, but not too shabby for old CdR.
