Gee forgot first one opened only over a year ago and this is it. What immediately stood out is the elegance and rounded complexity and all around goodness that I took note of but didn’t dwell on as it paired so well with Evan’s pork belly. Feb 4th, 2026Randomly opened and wow such an interesting wine. A perfect combo of velvet and iron with earthiness and sweet dark fruit plus savory notes still present with 18 years of bottle age. Saved most and will taste and share with Lun tomorrow. Next day: just as compelling. A complete wine. Wonderful.
