St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Spectacular! I think I hit this one at its highest peak. Sweet, multi layered nose. Beautiful mouthfeel accompying our lamb roast.

All the components were present, still lots of horsepower but clearly in her drinking window! Strong on the fruit, no sharp edges, just ready to give the best she has...

First notes: tight. Not revealing much on the nose. Palate is bright and sweet, but also tight - not revealing much depth. The finish is long, though I can’t quite make out what it is.
