Classic cedar, graphite, earth, subtle blackberry and roasted plum.

A nice Christmas treat brought home by mom from their trip to Bordeaux.

Wonderfully soft and silky upon opening, pruney fruit, feminine and rounded.
Drink now. Cuz during a few hours it fell apart pretty quickly. 93 -> 90…

Chocolate and cherry, leather, tobacco leaf, bay leaf, plum, earthy, licorice. Tannins fully resolved. Spicy, soft and nicely subdued. A bit of funky horse stable. Drink up!

as gd as it gets

Aged well. 2001 vintage consumed in 2018.

Drinking very well now and delivering everything you’d expect from a Margaux of this class. Lovely.
