Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Chateau matches wine. Unassuming and respectable.

Menthol and eucalyptus and wet earth. Steer plums and portobello. Finish is a little acidic or it would have a little higher rating.

Has notes of mushroom, forest floor, and a minty finish. Simple, straight-forward, and satisfying. Opened up nicely after about an hour.

A bit too easy to drink ...

Very nice representative Bordeaux.

Opened in 2014. Dry, Black cherry, initially smooth with tart finish. Needs another 3-5 years to smooth out. Will be great with lamb.

Great with filet, opened up nicely...I think we drank it a little too early. Last few sips were the best.
