Star of a two Bandol night, but this at age 14( minus a week or two). Deeper, plush, black violet & cassis nose; on palate tannins really nicely integrated, wild blackberries, more cassis & black currants. Crazy elegant and generous. Feels open. Distant notes of some kind of bark & forest floor. Older wild flowers.Eye opener, in sense of how far Bandol can go for me.

Deep plum and dark fruit. Baked earth. Dill. Mint. Meaty core with barnyard perimeter. Depth and length just beginning to soften.
