I am learning about wines like this this one. You read about it, everything tells you it's an amazing wine but It doesn't amaze me. I need to learn more about it.

Pretty good stuff with a polished texture and finish...especially when in the past I haven't loved it as much as I wanted to

Not stored well. Classic Paulliac. Cassis, blackberry, cedar, tobacco, pencil shaving, gravel. Well made and almost complex.

+1 hour decant(some fine/chunky sediment). A splendid crimson red color. On the nose: wonderful bouquet with plum, stewed meat, cassis, sweet tobacco, funky earth, leather. Taste: silky, finessed, balanced wine with red berries/plum, coffee grounds, cedar, tobacco, and a nice peppery pencil lead long finish. YUM! Pure class in a glass.

Color - blend of crimson and magenta giving it a rich color with bricking. The nose has beautiful scents of plum, aged perfume, sweet tobacco with secondary notes of worn leather crushed rock, a subtle funky earthiness and herbaceous aroma. Taste - soft and smooth covering the palate with red plum,, cedar, smoked meat and subtle sweetness of cassis new cigar and some spice. Definitely will enjoy this rainy Saturday night.

1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A sublime medium magenta color. On the nose: very aromatic nose of plum, funky earth, cassis, pencil lead, sweet tobacco, mint, worn leather. Taste: open and accessible, vibrant, smooth wine with red plum, cigar box, crushed stone, spice, cassis, cedar, smoked meat. YUM! Just pure class, what more can you say except even with my accolades not nearly good enough to be worth +$900/btl...paid less then $170 15 yrs ago.
