Cru Bourgeois Vignoble Responsable Haut - Medoc Red Bordeaux Blend

The nose shows cassis, blackberry, cherries, pencil shavings, incense, and hint of smoke. Medium to full body. The palate is ripe yet a bit lean, with a firm acidic backbone. Fruits feels still quite fresh. Mellow tannins.
This Medoc certainly benefits from a great vintage, and tonight it performs very well.

Aroma is dark, earthy with dark berry. Smooth, earthy and smoky flavour.

Coffee and black currant. Round and rich, still young.

Robe d’un bourgogne foncé... l’herbe fraîchement coupée et le cuir au nez avec une touche d’ancre les petits fruits sont toujours présents. Belle rondeur et long en bouche!

Really great bottle. 60% cab and 40%. Smooth and velvety but with character. Roughly $25.
