“Ready to go right now” - John Legend

A first for me, La Tour's 3rd growth, good structure, proper left bank, liked the pluminess and liquorice/tobacco, 2017 drinking well early/mess bottle age. Might have hyped this up/excited to try, expecting too much as I thought it lacked an x factor, a wow factor (there are 5th growths like Ch Cissac which go further than perhaps the name LaTour).

Glorious. Bought in saint emillion m, savored in Bordeux.

Wine pairing with our main meal...

Inky tint. Oak leather opening up slowly like tightly coiled serpent.

Nice notes of earth and cigar box but disappointingly thin

Great structur with complex tannin and less fruity notes. Nice drinking but no competitor to his two bigger brothers.
