Thought I would check in on this four years later. Still drinks young, but in a really good spot after a four hour decant. medium body, firm, graphite, blackberry, cherry, cranberry, mineral, plenty of acid, long dong silver. Good long life ahead. Edit: even better on day two.

Initially tight, reductive with earthy, charcuterie aromas. After over a day in the wine fridge, the fruit awakens, cassis, plum, with the undercurrent of cured meat, vanilla & pepper. Leaner style on the palate, medium plus body, sturdy acidity, fine but firm tannins coasting into a long finish. Enjoyable if still young #pomerol .
