Wonderfully accessibly, completely dry #riesling. This doesn’t blast you with aromatics; it’s a bit more restrained on the nose, light floral aromas, dried hay, yellow apple, citrus and a wonderful mineral base. Minerality carries through on the palate, more orchard and stone fruit, lovely tension throughput. 25% barrel fermentation shows up in a lovely texture. Intriguing MX #valledeguadalupe #merlot . Initially pretty heavy on the new oak but after a few days that blew off, stewed fruit + fresh black/purple fruit jam nose with a basement of earth. On the palate tastes similar except for an overlay of saline which is fascinating. — a month ago

Crushable #corsicanwine #patrimonio #nielluccio dominant #grenache blend. Medium ruby color, opens up in the glass to a blend of red fruit and earthy, almost charcuterie nose. Mouthwatering acidity on the palate, red fruit and meaty character continues, firm tannins on a longish finish. This would be great with a charcuterie board. — 4 months ago
