Sep 22nd, 20252016 vintage. This historical Moulis estate was bought in 2011 by the Barton Sartorius family (owners of Saint-Julien Crus Classés Leoville-Barton and Langoa-Barton). Merlot is the dominant grape variety here, and even more so in the 2016 blend as Cabernet Sauvignon suffered from frost. 47% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) and a hint of flowers. Medium-bodied and fresh.
