2017 vintage. 50% Sémillon, 45% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Sauvignon Gris. Deep golden colour, looks like it's at least 30 years old. Beewax, dried pineapple and honey. — 7 days ago
2019 vintage. Much better than expected, this is up to its Cru Classé status. Classic Saint-Estèphe and very good value. Since the owner of Cos d'Estournel bought this neighbouring estate, this will be a Château to follow. — 15 days ago
2022 vintage. Beautiful special label by Bordeaux artist Anaïs Vindel to celebrate Denis Lurton's 30 years at the head of Desmirail. The oak seems a bit more toasted than usual, but it is well-integrated. More weight compared to the excellent 2016, this will need time, but might turn out to be the best Desmirail ever. Abv. 13%. Conservative score for now. — 5 days ago
2022 vintage. Even better than 7 months ago. The magic of the vintage is obvious here. Black and red fruits, flowers and a distinctive mineral note. Exemplary purity of fruit, fresh and refined, with the silkiest tannins ever for this estate. Long, mineral finish. A very impressive wine that sells for a song. Abv. 14%. — 7 days ago
2016 vintage. Very good value. — 17 days ago
2016 vintage. 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. — 5 days ago
2018 vintage. 65% Touriga Nacional and 35% Touriga Franca. Impressive nose of wild raspberry, violet and a subtle touch of cedar wood. Profound and very elegant. Long mineral finish. Highly recommended. — 6 days ago
2000 vintage. Truffle galore. While it doesn't have the weight of more recent vintages, this is a delicious fully mature Pomerol. — 14 days ago
2008 vintage. Good old school rustic Saint-Estèphe that doesn't break the bank. Abv. 13%. — 19 days ago

2022 vintage. Strange nose and drying finish. And Diam again. I wish producers would mention on the back label that they use Diam so that I can avoid buying these bottles. — a day ago
