Dec 23rd, 2021Initial funk on the nose that blew off to reveal smoky plum notes. green stems, black fruit pie and some savory notes. Med firm tannins with a long smooth finish. Nice kickoff to the long weekend-cheers friends🍷

Nice red fruits upfront. Medium body wine with earthy tones , subtle oak, and nice finish.

A decent wine, however on that was bolstered by the Michelin starred food with which it was being paired. Fruity and tannic.

My fave wine so far. This Margaux in particular isn't too heavy. Very smooth. Tastes good with both meat and fish so like that it's versatile.
