Chateau Ste. Michelle
Cold Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USALast taste: Fruit forward with pepper, green & black. Not much terroir, just beautiful fruit.
This time, had it open longer. So lovely, I would raise the rating.

Fruit forward. Pepper, both green and black. No real terroir or minerality, but delicious for what it is

Jan 4th, 2019This is from a good warm vintage. Big fruity black cherry, blackberries, currants, pomegranate, and tobacco.
I haven't had any of this winery's wine in a very long time and this is much better than I recall.

Plum, vanilla, dark chocolate, smooth & well balanced. Needs a little time in the glass to open up though.

Jul 12th, 2018Really good and well balanced. 2013 was one of the warmest year in the vineyard. Delicate taste with lots of ripen fruits. Long finish!
