Pretty good for a Dolcetto, which, to me, is an overrated varietal. This was much better night 2, but the nose was still muted, showing nice hard dark cherry, a note of cinnamon, and dark stones. Quite minerally, it's got nice rich but bone dry dark cherry/plummy fruit. Fine but drying tannins lengthen the finish.
