This is just singing right now. Classic vintage from a classic producer. Ciacci continues to be my favorite Brunello producer, no matter the vintage

Whoa, just peaking right now, still inky, gobs of fruit, all manner of cherry, mulberry, cranberry, brambly, leathery, a cough syrup medicinal quality… very aromatic, and the palate was really grippy, very sturdy tannins - early season cherries & spice flavors, earthy, even a minerality, just tongue saturating w/long persistent finish. Enjoyed w/roast leg of lamb

Solid, but not great. This was missing the next gear.

Harmonious, cherry, forest floor, sappy. Tannins are mostly resolved.

2006 Ciacci Brunello. Insane depth & beautifully ripe fruit & tannin balanced with bright acidity. Love it.

We visited the vine eu in Tuscany, Martina was fabulous and the wine were amazing. We order directly from them because we can't find a the wine in Colorado.
