Lovely dark blackberry juice and bing cherry color. Smells lovely. A musky pungent element to go with a berry and violets thing. Flavor is smoky and hearty. Plenty of acids. Bitter as it should be. Has a very French flavor profile. Graphite, ink and elderberries are well represented. Plenty of acid too. Cranberry. Like cranberry and blueberry together sorta. It’s very nice red with an old world soul.
