Very tasty 2018 Zin we enjoyed with homemade cast iron pizza tonight…DELICIOUS! We loved the fruit forward but nice finish of this wine. This is a great deal for an under $20 wine. Definitely recommend and we will buy again

We have no power tonight so I blindly chose this Zinfandel. It’s a great wine and under-rated. Strong pepper and alcohol. Loved the evening without luxuries of power or WiFi. Who needs it??? Just enjoy the wine, the night and my wife. Life is good.

What is going on with this Zinfandel?! The ludicrous amount of white pepper that greets the nose is almost offensive. If there are secondary notes they’re pretty much irrelevant - I’m not kidding. The palette does a decent job of recouping some of the wine’s value. Dark red, blue and black fruits greet a fair amount of dark earth, and yes, there’s white pepper (black too). It’s curious, but not a wine I’d see myself revisiting.
