Someone showed up to the World Cup Final party with this #Riesling from Trader Joe’s, so naturally, I had to evaluate. ⚽️
Verdict: Not a whole lot going on here. Not much at all. But, admittedly, it’s better than what I’d expect from such an inexpensive bottle.

This is not a favorite. Too acidic for me to even enjoy the taste. Smells like lemons and a bouquet of flowers. Might be a wine I’d have to try with food to enjoy.

Great U.S. Riesling...not too overly sweet as some I've had maybe due to the very floral tones and you're left with a honey aftertaste and does indeed pair nicely with Chinese food and curry shrimp
