Block 27 Peumo Vineyard Terrunyo Carménère

A little past it's Prime, but enjoyed with good company.

This is one of the family's top vineyardcste a good bit of sweet herbs red currant and cherry fruit plum coffee fresh earth and dark spices. This wine is very smooth fine herbs very smooth and fresh finish excellent+

점원이 적극 권장해서 구입한 와인! 칠레와인 중 가장 좋아하는 와인이라나 머라나... 코르크를 따자 풍부한 과일향이 났고 살짝 테이스팅을 했을때 상당히 단단함을 느꼈다. 그래서 일단 30분 정도 코르크를 열어놓고 기다리기로 결정! 식사를 하면서 천천히 맛을 보았을 때 조금씩 열리면서 맛이 좋아지는 듯 했다. 그러나, 30분이 지난 뒤에도 분명 많이 부드러워 졌으나 과실향은 더이상 풍부하지 않았고 같은 가격대의 다른 와인에 비해 농후함이 부족했다. 도대체 왜 이 와인을 추천해줬는지 모르겠다. 탄닌과 알콜맛이 두드러져 밸런스도 맞지 않고... 맛만 보자면 그냥 먹어줄만 하지만 가격을 고려했을땐 먹을만한 와인이 아니다! 아니면 백화점에서 보관이 잘못 되었던가...

Very bold like a cab, very dry. Drinking by itself is pleasurable but pair this with meat or a spicy food and you have yourself a winner. Let this one breathe for a bit and then enjoy. Added. 2 more points as this just got better with time. Lovely. 👍

First carmenere had so far in the states, hmmm just a bit like as it's still developing but the color is very beautifully ruby.
