Made only in great years, this is a fine wine from a long-gone winery. It skirts the line between vegetal and rich cab. I wonder if Mitch added a hint of bret. This has many years left in it, barely brickish, so smooth and rich. Well-integrated tannins. If you can get your hands on it...get me some. My last bottle...a truly special wine.

Jan 1st, 2017A fantastic wine, very well integrated. If there is one complaint (and it is minor) I'd say it could use a little less oak. Rich plum and cedar. Well worth the "Reserve" label and will age for another 8-12 years.
