This is just so lovely, cool climate, deft touch of oak, layers of complexity, long finish, just a brilliant effort by Florida Jim, my only regret is I didn’t buy more!!
An hour after opening from the bottle, nose was clearly fruit heavy with black cherry wood tones. Palate reveals bright cherry delicious pointedness that lends this well as an end of dinner/after dinner wine. The mouth feel is bright fruit. Our disagreed on the finish with one saying pepper and two saying vanilla and dried fruit leather. Delicious!
