The Original California Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark ruby in color with reddish rim.

Fruity nose with plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, coffee, sweet raspberries, chocolates and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and fruity, with blackberries, raspberries, wood, licorice, earth, spices, peppercorn, smoke, chocolates, tobacco and light green vegetables.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries.

This inexpensive California Cabernet is well balanced with mild complexity. Good by itself or with food. A good sipping wine and nice for parties, too.

Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour in a decanter.
Enjoyable when lightly chilled.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

A real delight and surprise. Dark berry taste with really good tannins. Highly recommend with beef or chicken dishes.
