The 1997 had a far color and small variation from the rim. The wine showed so beautiful, high tone berry fruit and great acid, just an enjoyable wine

Ripe cranberry, lemongrass, shaved carrot. Longest progression of burgundy/Pinot I've tried. Gripping tannins seduce one into submission. Certainly not the imitation of greatness but the thing itself!

1997 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately, after 30 mins and after 2 hours. Threw a little sed but not much. Cinnamon, straw, rhubarb and strawberry on the nose. Light-medium body. Good focus and concentration throughout the tasting gauntlet; finishing with a couplet of dust and earth. Not improving but likely to hold the line for an additional 3-4 years. Love isn't always on time. No. No. No. 10.22.23.
