Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2022 “Les Argiles Bleues” pours a deep ruby/purple with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe brambles, plum, olive, bacon fat, purple flowers, and dry stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. A lovely, plush Rasteau that more than delivers the good. Drink now through 2032.

Takes 1.5 hour to decant until it’s fruity notes starts to show, best to then enjoy it within the next hour.
