Corbières, Languedoc, Languedoc Roussillon, FranceGreat taste. Refreshing, mineral with hint of peach. Really good on its own.

May 18th, 2019Brought this home chilled from the liquor store and my first sip was unimpressive for the $19 I paid for it. Didn’t appear to have much character to it. After letting it breath for a while and reach a temp just slightly cooler than room temperature I was able to enjoy the crisp, light tannins (would like to come up with a good summer salad to pair this with) and subtle berry notes that I thought brought more balance than sweetness (which is what I prefer in a rosé). Definitely would purchase again but will search it out at liquor stores that have it for $14-15, which I think is a more appropriate price point. If you have not tried this bottle and like to have an array of rosés for the season (FYI rosé season is every season..but I digress) to choose from, I definitely recommend picking up a bottle and giving it a go.
