Ouch...was awfully tight out of the bottle. Needed time to open up and was worth the wait. Wonderful balance and structure. More time in the bottle would yield some really good funk.

Classic CDP. 65 grenache, 20 syrah, 10 mourvedre, 5 cinsault. A little thin on the nose. Solid balance on the palate. On its own, this is solid. But with food, especially spicy food, this really shines.

Very full and round. Quite a tasty mouthful! If anything, this verges on overripe. My wife's initial comment is "Delicious!"
