Monster nose. Angelic, full and round. Camphor, iron notes and charred bloody rib roast. Deep, dark cherry. Excellent.

Blind Rhône’s from Saturday. Many of us thought this was a domestic creation, perhaps Paso Robles. It reminded me of an overdone Linne Calodo rising tides. High alcohol with accompanying heat, disjointed and disappointing.

Big bold and beautiful, showing great development. Surprises abound from overshadowed vintages.

Tomatoey but really good. A lot better than 07

Mesquite, garrigues, fruitcake, dark red fruit, tobacco and menthol.

Turkish blend, figs and garrigue.

Dried fig, garrigue and mesquite.

Wow, last bottle this is just a great example of CdP. No need to hurry if this is in your cellar. Big cherry nose dark color wonderful entry and finish. Why I love CdP.
