Not sure the @Delectable Wine identification is correct because I don’t know if “Cabriole” is a different cuvée than the regular Cheverny. But close enough, I guess. This is a Pinot blend with a little Gamay, I think. Really exuberant nose has tons of ripe, lively red berry and sappy cherry fruit, limestoney minerality, and a little wet loam earthiness. High-toned and fruity in the mouth, it’s a fun drink, with zingy acids and just about zero tannin. Worked well with a chicken and artichoke casserole.
