In good shape—lots of tertiary notes, herbaceous, soil, old leather, dried porcini, still some smooth plum, black currant, blackberry fruit and holding on to some structure. I feel like the cab tends to predominate in this wine

Impressive considering age and appellation. Even though Trevallon is a reputed producer, this was still a major surprise. Served blind, I assumed it was from Bdx.

Way better than expected and had some life and fruit left. Cedar, cigar tobacco and spice. Some good red fruit too.
