Melons, some minerals, nice tartness, too much SO2. Apricot finish. Bit of Botrytis. Cooking wine for great morel mushroom risotto.

I dig it, this wine is in a good place right now. Eight years old and medium bodied, good acid, nice fine mineral vibe. Preserved lemon, orange juice, saffron/plastic, honey, red apple flesh. Nothing crazy here, but a solid wine for $22.

Candied lemon, green apple. Really zippy. Some lees contact rounding things just a bit.

Minerality for miles. A long citrusy finish. Wish I had brought more of this home from France.
