A stunner of a young wine. Just brimming with ripe cherry, green herbs and energy. Obviously too young, but still very, very enjoyable.

Strawberries lead the charge, dry cranberries, strong minerality & earth. Little watery on the finish.

Drank the 2001. Maybe left it too late. Possibly didn't let it breathe for long enough. Had saved this for Christmas lunch with goose... Sadly disappointing. No finesse. Ordinary Pinot at best.
