This is nice but not the showstopper of their other Grand Cru. Leaner, soft, nicely ripe berries-lead with raspberries, cherries, strawberries & some pomegranate. Nice red and pink roses. Built up a bit of excitement in selecting this Nuit-Saint George, then opened it up and neaaahhh!
All a bit flat. Nothing terribly wrong and it wasn’t corked, just no major aromas or flavors. Guess you can’t win em all. Or, we’ve just been spoiled with amazing wine and every now and then you pick an average one.
