Medium deep garnet, ruby core with medium light garnet rim . This is quite meaty and deep on the nose , with earthy dark cherry , porcini , sweet blackberry and spiced sous bois . On the palate this is quite severe and serious , darker fruits , ripe blackberry , cherry and hint of blackcurrant, herbal hints. Quite gritty , slightly drying tannins , fresh acidity . Earthy , dusty dark cherry edged finish , ok medium length. Quite ambitious for a village and arguably not ready yet , tannins need a little more time to integrate. Quite light straw colour . Slightly waxy toasty notes , lime cordial , lemon , white flowers . Really quite young and fresh. On the palate this has high acidity but a creamy , waxy note. Lime , grapefruit , lightly honied palate . Good length and lime, lightly toasty finish. Very fresh and vital . Really young still . From now and over the next 10-20 years . — 8 days ago

Medium light Ruby with wide garnet ruby rim. This is quite reserved , cool and mineral on the nose , some pine notes with herbal , red cherry , cranberry hints , black tea . On the palate this has more red fruits , raspberry , red cherry, sweet wild strawberry , along with black tea , thyme and rosemary . Wet slate tinged finish . High acidity and fine but gritty tannins . Long and really detailed . Very young but will age effortlessly for another 20 years , perhaps more . Very promising . Medium light ruby wide light ruby rim . Aromatic and floral on the nose , with rose , violet , red currant , raspberry and spiced cherry , blackberry . On the palate this is quite pretty and red fruited , raspberry , summer fruits , touch of spice . Slightly grippy tannins , fresh acidity , slightly slatley , grafite finish . Still pretty young , from now with a little time in the glass and over the next 5 -10 years . — 3 days ago

Medium yellow , touch of gold . Fine bubbles , though not a lot noticable in our wine glasses . Bit of development with brioche , orange rind , mocha , touch of honeysuckle and crushed stones . On the palate this is fine boned , elegant, lemon rind , baked pastry , fine chalky notes . Quite high grippy acidity , this is linear and quite direct in style , but enough volume on the palate to cover its bones . Good medium length mineral and crystallised lemon pith charged finish . This is drinking well now but will probably last well over the next 5-10 years. — 3 days ago

Light medium ruby , wide pink rim . Fresh rose , raspberry , strawberry with hints of hedgerow. On the palate mostly ripe , light red fruits , strawberry and raspberry mostly with good freshness and just a hint of spice . Ripe but lightly gritty tannins, fresh sappy acidity . Medium length . Lovely now and over the next 5-8 years . Not complex or thought provoking but pure , fresh and enjoyable. — 10 days ago

Very refined red fruit on the palate , elegant and fruit forward , with some wet slate . Quite light tannins , and fresh acidity . Good red cherry stained , herbal finish . Quite light straw colour . Quite aromátic , quince , honeydew melon , white flowers . On the palate this is quite focused with green fruits , apple , quince and some chalk dust . There is a touch of creaminess to the mid palate which helps to round out the wine with decent mineral , flinty tinged length . Quite clean and fresh , young but still enjoyable , but will probably imorove over the next 3-5 years and last well a further 5 or so . — 3 days ago

Bright medium ruby with medium wide violet pink rim . This is quite exuberantly fruited on the nose at first , with plum , dark cherry , violets then some dry spices, anis, with some slightly toasty , earthy hints after a while . On the palate this is velvety in texture , medium bodied with red plum , dark cherry , ripe blackberry , with a discreet dried spice note . Balanced alcohol , ripe but lightly grippy tannins , and good freshness . Medium length , with cherry , anis and toasty , earthy notes on the finish. Youthful but certainly enjoyable now and , I would imagine , over the next 5-10 years. — 5 days ago

This is a bit more dense and complex on the nose , denser fruits perhaps with some cedar , herbal hints along side the slightly bitter cherries . This fills out more on the palate , is longer and more intense , touch of herbal bitter cherries and pine sap. Really long and fresh .
