From Bosche Vineyard in Rutherford, Napa Valley.
94 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 6 % Merlot.
27 months in French oak …68 % new oak.
Ripe raspberries, black currants, black cherry and black olives.
Dried herbs, earthy and savoury with well integrated tannins.
We tasted this upon release and it was a monster…a big, brawling youngster.
It has calmed down immensely and become a well respected member of society. — 3 months ago

Rich black cherries, cocoa spice, orange peel, dark flowers, subois and earthy.
Long generous finish with crisp acidity and fine grained tannins.
This was bequeathed to me years ago at a Celebration of Life for a gentleman who was greatly influential and guiding on my wine journey.
A stunning wine from an incredible individual.

This is Terravista Mencia Rose 2025,
not Albariño.
Bright vibrant pink.
Dry, crisp and savoury with red berries, cranberries, slightly floral with a hint of (not unpleasant) bitterness.
Pleasant mouth watering acidity on the finish.
The only planting of Mencia grapes in all of Canada.; 4 acres in total.
Grown on a clay bluff overlooking Okanagan Lake in the Naramata Outlook Vineyard.
Fermented in 60 % steel and 40 % neutral barrels then aged in steel and neutral French oak barrels. — 7 days ago

Let’s all take a moment and look at this blend from Maremma.
All the grapes in this cepage get a chance to play.
Aromatic herbs, bright and citrusy with lemon grass, white pepper with round mouth feel but acidity still kicking in.
