Chinato like complexity, anise, gorgeous acidity and supple. Juicy and so generous and slippery fruit. Gorgeous density and purity. Acid is adequate and so supple. Inner mouth aromas, this has warm vintage fruit character but tension from an early pick maybe? Dark cherry, and anise on the finish. Tannins are velvet and sweet and ripe. After 7 hours open this wine is just a stunner. Nose is a bit of dark cherry, some discreet wood, wild berries and more. Palate is ethereal and dense but also nimble and so fresh. Unreal velvety tannins and so sweet. 9.6 Nose is so damson on day 2. Stunning cherry clarity and depth. Juicy, silky and sweet. Dark fruits and energy.
