L'Hermitage Syrah

This wine is my baby doll. So soft and animal. She’s my girlfriend.

Wow! A rock star wine with many years left. Lots of dark cherry, berry fruit, meat, earth, mineral, savory spices, leather, floral & tobacco

Classic Hermitage nose, red & black fruits, smoked meat, leather, iron, herbs, pepper. Expressive sweet, silky palate, cherry liqueur, olives, beautifully balanced. Another wow bottle.

So I have Chave but not nearly enough and need to be backfilling. This was unbelievable. Needed to open after its 29 year nap but when it did, it was a truly special treat. Wow!
