My falling out of love with Chateauneuf isn't helped by this CdP I bought from Garagiste & bit taken back they offered it. 16% alc ripe red jam. A cocktail wine, nothing I care for. The Parker/WS era can't leave this region fast enough.

1/2. Did a tasting of 2 distinctly different CdP's. This wine which was a predominant Grenache CdP showed much lighter in the glass but had nice floral notes and plenty of blackberry and currants. Very drinkable and held up nicely to its bottle age.
